Date: 10 Feb 2010 - 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: brainmates office
Address:
84 Pitt Street, Suite 906
Sydney, NSW
Details:
Product managers and marketers are increasingly using web 2.0 and social media.
Used strategically, social media helps facilitate faster and more effective collaboration in developing competitive products and services. It also provides new cost effective ways of connecting with customers and the community and interactive platforms to promote products and services.
This event provides an overview “primer” about the origins and applications of social media. We are fortunate to have three guest panellists who will share their thoughts and experiences in using social media and the challenges and opportunities it presents.
This event is for product managers and marketers who want to understand how to use social media to help achieve their goals.
We started “Product Talks” to facilitate conversations about the many common challenges faced by Product Managers. To fuel discussion, we’ve prepared a topic for each event. The sessions are generally led by Nick Coster who asks a series of questions and occasionally voices his own opinion. We encourage open debate so the group can learn from us and each other. On occasions, “Product Talks” is led by a guest speaker.
“Product Talks” is also a networking function. We’re keen for Product Managers across different industries to meet up and exchange business cards. You never know where your next job offer will come from.
Please come with strong opinions and a desire to voice them!
There will also be a door prize draw for everyone who pre-registers and then provides their business card at the the event, so register now!
