      Regarding slide 12, "...innovation occurs [..] where the problems and needs of users can be linked..."

      I think you would really enjoy the SSNF scenario process. SSNF is pronounced "sniff" and stands for the core story of a scenario: a Stakeholder in a Situation with a resultant Need (that all's the problem), resolved by a Feature (that's the solution).
